i Ruihua, a lyric soprano, born in 1960 in shandong China, graduated in School of Music in Shandong Normal University and received her master degree in China Central Conservatory of Music . Now she is the professor of vocal as well as the graduate student tutor in Shandong University of Arts. She is the member of the Chinese National Musicians Association. Her working career started in 1984, up to now she has participated in various vocal music competitions of national and provincial level and won the most top prizes. She was given the title of “Mimi” which is well-known in Shandong Province with her successful singing role in La Bohéme. She started her teaching practice performances with “The Opera Segment Concert” (1987), then followed with “ Li Ruihua Teaching Concert”(1992), “Classic Music on Campus－Li Ruihua Vocal Performance” (1999), “Li Ruihua Lieder Teaching Practice Concert” (2002), “Singing at Peking University－Professor Li Ruihua Teaching Concert” (2009). Because of her outstanding achievements in the teaching of vocal music, Her name was loaded into “the China National Expert Database”. She has been invited to be the judges of vocal competitions both in national and provincial level for many years. And she has been invited to visit the various Universities in America, Canada, Austria and Japan.
